Design & Historic Touches
The restaurant’s interior is noted for its “DIY spirit” and incorporation of salvaged materials from the owners’ past ventures and local history:
- New York Roots
The front doors and a 1930s dark wood humidor (now used for wine storage) were brought from their former Brooklyn restaurant, Rye. - Local Salvage
The space features reclaimed wood from the historic Bouquet bar and other materials from the old Tiner Building in Boise. - Ambiance
The restaurant was designed to create an intimate, “moody” atmosphere, complete with aged decorative metal ceiling tiles treated by Cal himself.
